Highlights

This essentially spiritual trip introduces you to importance of the different facets of India like the Ganges, important monuments and Pilgrimage places of the Northern India. This trip takes you to few of the major cultural and spiritual destinations of North India in Braj region (The land of Lord Krishna). It covers Mathura (The birth place of Krishna) and Vrindavan (The sacred town known as the Capital of Bhakti Yoga, because of its thousands of beautiful Ashrams and Krishna Temples). This trip covers Uttrakhand (Haridwar/Rishikesh) , which is the Himalayan region of India.

Itinerary

01 Day: Arrival in Jaipur/ (or Delhi)

Entrance of Jagat Shiromani Temple, Amber and Govind Dev Ji Temple, Jaipur

Arrival and sight seen in the second half and Overnight stay in Hotel in Jaipur

02 Day: Jaipur

Gate and city wall of pink city and Hawa Mahal, Jaipur

Early morning visit ancient capital of Amber and enjoy an Elephant ride to reach Top of the fort. Later visit the Jagatshiromani Temple, which is the oldest temple in old capital of Amber and is e dedicated to Lord Krishna and Meera Bai.

Later in Afternoon visit Govindevji Temple, dedicated to Shri Govind Devji (Local name of lord Krishna) and City Palace Museum and astronomical Observatory located next to GovindDevji Temple. In the evening, explore the busy markets of Jaipur by walk and Cycle Rickshaws.

03 Day: Jaipur -Abhaneri – Agra by road

In morning proceed to Agra and on the way visit Abhaneri (Having a step well for shortage of rain water built in 8th century by Hindu king Chand of Chauhan dynasty).

In Agra visit Taj-Mahal and avail some free time for exploring the city. Overnight stay in Hotel in Agra

04 Day: Agra-Vrindavan (60 kms, One and half hour)

After breakfast proceed to Vrindavan, the land of lord Krishna. A day to explore this sacred town, where lord Krishna spent his childhood. It is believed that in current age lord Vishnu himself lives in this small sacred town. Optional Circular walk (Parikrama) around Vrindavan (8 kms, 4-5 hours) , one of the best walks in most sacred city of North India , which bring an insight into great tradition of Krishna Bhakti (devotion to lord Krishna in different forms).

05 Day: Vrindavan

Another day to explore this sacred town, where lord Krishna spent his childhood. It is believed that in current age lord Vishnu himself lives in this small sacred town. An excursion to Mathura (nearby town will be organized to visit Birth place of lord Krishna)

Optional Circular walk around Vrindavan (8 kms, 4-5 hours) , one of the best walks in most sacred city of North India , which bring an insight into great tradition of Krishna Bhakti (devotion to lord Krishna in different forms).

06 Day: Vrindavan to Haridwar/Rishikesh – 8 hrs drive

Early morning drive to Haridwar. After arrival in evening attend the Grand celebration of Ganga Aarti (evening prayer of the Goddess Ganga) at Har-ki –Pauri.

07 Day: Haridwar/Rishikesh

Explore Rishikesh, the small holy town having Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula and many famous Ashrams and Temples.

08 Day: Haridwar – Delhi (200 kms, 5 hrs)

Drive to Delhi or the destination of your choice for onwards connection
